This Privacy Policy describes how Parex collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through www.parex.ai.

1. Who we are

Parex (“Parex,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website www.parex.ai. We advance capital on future bank disbursements for construction companies.

At this stage, our website collects only:

Primary purposes (required for the service you requested):

• Add you to our product waitlist and send you launch updates.
• Notify you when Parex’s financing product is available in your country.

Secondary purposes (you may opt out at any time):

• Understand geographic interest and demand for our product.
• Send occasional company news and announcements.

We do not use your email for automated profiling or decision-making that produces legal effects.

4. Legal basis for processing

Colombia (Ley 1581 de 2012, Habeas Data)

By submitting your email address through our signup form, you grant Parex express, prior, and informed authorization to process your personal data for the purposes stated above, in accordance with Colombia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Ley Estatutaria 1581 de 2012) and its regulatory decree (Decreto 1377 de 2013). You may revoke this authorization at any time (see Section 7).

Mexico (LFPDPPP, Aviso de Privacidad)

This document constitutes Parex’s Aviso de Privacidad in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP, 2010) and its Regulations. By providing your email, you consent to its treatment as described. You may exercise your ARCO rights at any time (see Section 7).

United States (future users, California CCPA)

For California residents: we do not sell your personal information. See Section 8 for your full rights.

5. Data sharing and transfers

We share your email only with:

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

If we are acquired or merge with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a materially different privacy policy.

Cross-border transfers: our service providers may process data outside Colombia or Mexico. Where required by law, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

6. Data retention

We keep your email address until:

• You unsubscribe from our communications, or
• You request deletion (see Section 7), or
• 3 years have passed since your last interaction with us, whichever comes first.

After retention expires, we delete or anonymize your data.

7. Your rights

Colombia (Derechos de Habeas Data, Ley 1581/2012)

You have the right to:

1. Know, update, and rectify your personal data.
2. Request proof of the authorization you granted.
3. Revoke authorization and/or request deletion of your data when the legal or contractual obligation to keep it has expired.
4. Access your data free of charge at least once per calendar month.
5. File a complaint with Colombia’s data protection authority, the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) at www.sic.gov.co.

Response times: inquiries within 10 business days. Complaints within 15 business days (extendable by 8 more business days with notice).

Mexico (Derechos ARCO, LFPDPPP)

You have the right to:

• Access: know what personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Cancel: request deletion of your data.
• Object: oppose processing for specific purposes.

How to exercise: email hi@parex.ai with (i) your full name, (ii) the right you wish to exercise, and (iii) any supporting information.

Response time: we will respond within 20 business days. If your request is accepted, we will act within 15 additional business days.

You may also file a complaint with Mexico’s data protection authority, the Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI) at www.inai.org.mx.

8. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

Categories of personal information collected: identifiers (email address). We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

California residents may:

• Request to know what personal information we have collected.
• Request deletion of personal information.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

9. Cookies and tracking

We do not currently use analytics tools or tracking cookies on this website. If this changes, we will update this policy before deploying any tracking technology.

10. Children

Our website is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us at hi@parex.ai and we will delete it promptly.

11. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your email address against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version at www.parex.ai/privacy with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify you by email where we have your address.
